Farewell but not goodbye

Outgoing Board Rep Alex Roach has stuck to his word and will be staying involved with Chapter 1 despite now moving into his own flat and finishing his year on the Board.
Alex, from Homerton in Hackney, will now be training Chapter 1 staff on service user involvement in the organisation. Alex has already spent the past year training new staff to Chapter 1 on customer service as part of their induction in the organisation.
Nicky Wilson, Training Manager, said “It’s common sense that our service users should be training our staff on service user involvement. They are the experts having received our service and know what works and doesn’t work.”
Current and former service users delivering training is another way in which we’re making sure service users get involved in our organisation in order that we deliver excellent services.
